What's even more odd, is the quick access menu of the file explorer shows the newĭocument name I attempted to save, but when I try to navigate to the folder it's in I am directed to the correct folder which does not contain the file. I click save,Īnd it goes back to the word document without giving me any errors, but the document is still named "document 1" and the file I created does not exist in the relevant folder. I then attempted to save this file in the same folder under a different name. To further investigate, I tried copying ana pasting 0the entire report into a new word document. I even selected "openįile location" under info and it brought me to the exact same folder. I double checked the paths, and the one I sent him is indeed the exact same file and location as what is showing under the word document information. ![]() Outlined version of the document from before I started writing yesterday afternoon. It as my original document name in the proper location, and said yes to overwriting the previous version. When the computer came back on, it opened an "autorecovered" version of the document, which I didn't notice until I had spent another hour or so editing. Program, so I saved my project report document and restarted my computer. Late last night I was having some issues with another Yesterday afternoon, I began writing the project report in the same file. Just for a little background, I made this file a couple of weeks ago and had been using it to outline a project I was working on. ![]()
